• Description: • Intro Clinic 2: Getting the Hang of It Intro to BMX Clinics- Available FREE to all riders. What The Clinic Schedule Looks Like Tuesday November 17th 5:30pm until 6:30pm • Intro Clinic 1: The Basics • Basic pedaling / pedals level work on the street. • Balancing on the gate. • Intro to the track, obstacle names, basic pumping. • Bike fit and maintenance (involve local bike shop). • Safety equipment, and proper fit (involve local bike shop). Tuesday November 24th 5:30pm until 6:30pm • Basic turn work. • Bunny hopping and setting the foundation. • Value of working “a straight at a time” (discuss track work with parents). • Local BMX rules and programs / promote USA BMX programs. • How a race works / reading moto sheets. Indiviual Skills Clinic available Saturday November 21st 5:30pm until 6:30pm Each clinic is roughly one hour in length. Eight clinics: • Gate Starts • Pumping. • Manualing. • Jumping. • Turns. • Pack Skills. • Using the Track for Training. • Basic Training for BMX. • Sprints. • Calisthenics for Youth. These clinics are hosted by our local track coaches Luis Flecha, Luke Doran, & Zephin Mann
